Donut and Coffee Oil Painting.

 My favorite snack.  Strawberry donut and coffee.  Still cant find a subject to paint.  lol.  I think I will switch to acrylic paint for a bit and just sketch things out.  

Not a Pair

 Three pears oil painting on cavas paper.  When I don't know what to paint I paint fruit.  It is very frustrating to find something to paint.  I spend way to much time looking at a blank canvas.  I hope the new years breaks my painter's block.  Untill then I will just keep going.

Apples Still Life. Oil Paint

I painted this on Christmas Eve 2024.  Oil paint on canvas paper.  I have been painting more and more on canvas pad and paper.  I find it less stressfull.  Plus it is easier to store.  I will only paint on a streatched canvas if I have a really good idea or want to hang it on the wall.

Boat on the Beach Oil Painting.

Oil paint on canvas pad.  I felt like going to the beach today, so I painted this.  It is cold in the chicagoland area today.  5 or so months before it warms up.

 

New Business Card.

I printed out a bunch of new business cards with a QR Code.  The code is the URL for this blog.  I was thinking of leaving the cards in obscure places and seeing if they drive traffic to this blog.  I will wait and see the results.  I guess this is a form of guarilla marketing. I will make a post if it works.  lol.
