I originaly painted this in June, not sure if I wanted to post it. It is slowly growing on me. I used thick paint, it took a while to dry enough to handle. It was a fun Project. 8.5 x 11 in canvas.

A.I. Overload
This is how I feel at the moment. To much tech. What is real anymore? I can't believe anything I see online. Comment if you feel the same way.

Homemade Frames
I had some time in the shop and decided to make some frames for some small paintings. I used some oak pallet wood I had laying around. This is the first time I made a frame, I did not want to use good wood, but I think it turned out well.
Having a full workshop with alot of woodworking tools helps this process. I made 3 duds before I made one good frame. Learning process, I guess. Now I know where to measure.
I have a really good miter saw that cuts angles well and is easy to set up. It made the process easier.
I think I will be in the shop making frames for a while until I am proficiant.

Water Pitcher Oil Painting
I was feeling creative Saturday so I painted this water pitcher. It is on canvas pad, one coat of gesso. I am trying to come up with still life compositions that use complimentary colors. I am also trying to get back in the swing of painting regularly. My PTSD is really bothering me lately.
I have another painting I am working on, just waithing for the first layer to tack up a little. I don't want to make mud. I hope to post it soon.

Maries 1919 oil paint Review
I bought the basic oil paint set from Temu. The Maries 1919 basic set, it has the primaries and black and white. Right off the bat I liked the thickness of the paint. It also had a good pigment load. The amout of paint per tube is very substantial. I have no complaints and will buy other colors. For under $20 you cant beat it.
This was my first painting. I was getting comfortable with the paint.
This was my next painting.
