Green Budgie Acrylic Painting

I painted this budgie in my sketchbook.  Always liked parakeets.  Great pet birds.  I had many growing up. I might paint a few more.  Blue one next.

The last of my painting on cardboard paintings.  lol.  I am really having fun with the orange/blue color mix.  Last post of May.  Hopfully I get more painting done in June.

I am still painting on cardboard. I have alot of it, seems a shame to waste it.  Three pears.

I feel bad that I painted this on cardboard.  I really like this painting.  I primed the cardboard with 4 coats of gesso.  Then I coated the back with modpodge.  I hope it stands up to time.  I have 2 more prepared cardboard surfaces. I will be painting on them soon.

Some quick watercolor paintings I did on my deck.  I like to sketch in watercolor, it is quick way to brainstorm the next painting.  I hope to paint more in the next few weeks.
